Best Egg is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op who is eager to contribute to a cross-functional agile team and help develop internal and customer-facing software. This role will report to the Technology - Software Engineering & Architecture Department  

• Actively contribute to code.
• Work closely with the Engineer Lead and members of the backend team.
• Participate in the Agile development cycle.

• Comfort with at least one of: Python, Java.
• Understanding of the principles of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with SQL database fundamentals.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact and collaborate productively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Demonstrated record of independence and perseverance.
• Effective and proactive communication skills with peers and managers.
• Curiosity and a readiness to learn new skills, strategies, and technologies.
• Computer science, computer engineering, and related fields, for individuals possessing the desired technical skills.
