Bilingual Assistant Teacher: Seattle-Tacoma, WA

Bezos Academy is looking for a Bilingual Assistant Teacher to assist lead teachers in nurturing a child-initiated learning process at our tuition-free Montessori-inspired preschools. This position is critical for fostering development among children in under-resourced communities.

Skills

Fluency in English and Spanish
Experience with early childhood education
Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively

Responsibilities

Assist lead teachers in developing and implementing educational programs
Support classroom instructional activities and guide self-directed learning
Maintain a nurturing and safe classroom environment
Monitor and assess children's progress and development

Education

High school diploma or GED
Washington Early Childhood Education Initial Certificate or equivalent
