About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee our company's warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and be able to implement efficient processes to optimize inventory management, shipping and receiving, and overall warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse activities are executed in a safe and effective manner, while also meeting productivity and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, material handling, storage, inventory management, order processing, and fulfilment.
  • Develop, implement, and validate that all warehouse activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, and maintain a safe working environment
  • Analyze warehouse performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

  • Manage relationships with vendors and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and transactions
  • Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment and supplies
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse management, with a track record of success in improving efficiency and reducing costs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Understanding of safety regulations and standards
  • Experience managing a team of employees
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Forklift certification a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
