Your Role As Program Officer, Giving by All (GBA), you will help lead PPT’s efforts to celebrate and encourage everyday giving through a transition into its next chapter. You will project manage a strategy process with members of PPT, key stakeholders, and external consultants to collaboratively plan the future for this initiative. You will serve as project lead for working with partners to envision the future of the Greater Giving Summit (GGS) – a high-profile gathering of partners devoted to everyday giving – and a year-round virtual community of GGS participants. You may also assist with managing relationships and investments with GBA partners. You will need to have strong project management skills and a nose for strategy, be an exceptional collaborator, and have a strong commitment to and acumen with advancing equity. This is a limited-term employment position with salary and benefits. We would ideally like to have this role be based in Seattle, WA or Washington, DC. This position is not eligible for relocation benefits to move to the Seattle, WA or Washington, DC office. In some circumstances we would be open to a remote employee located in an eligible US state only. This position is ineligible for remote work from a location outside of the US. What You’ll Do Strategy and Project Support: Coordinate a strategy process for GBA and GGS by collaborating with consultants and internal collaborators. Ensure timely and effective execution of project plans, monitor progress, manage resources, and facilitate strategic discussions. Contribute research to support decision-making. Support other strategic projects across GBA as needed. Greater Giving Summit Community Management: Partner with external vendor to manage the GGS virtual community, including producing pop-up events and driving improvements to the virtual experience. Investment Making and Maintenance: Support the making and ongoing maintenance of charitable grants and contracts associated with strategy and convening projects. Consult with grantees, contractors and other partners to increase impact of projects and ensure investments are meeting goals. Stakeholder Management: Maintain open and effective communication with partners. Foster a two-way dialogue with internal and external partners to gather feedback and ensure alignment with their needs and perspectives. Collaborate with communications colleagues to develop and implement communication plans. Your Experience Bachelor's or other advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of professional experience in strategy development or complex project management in a consulting firm, charitable foundation, social enterprise or nonprofit. Demonstrated exposure to and understanding of key issues in charitable giving. Sincere commitment to equity; deep understanding of current DEI landscape in philanthropy, giving, and the social sector. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively synthesize information to reach diverse audiences and build consensus. Other Attributes Experience with developing and delivering highly effective events. Understanding of or experience with technologies that are influencing the giving sector. Strong quantitative analytic skills. Previous grantmaking or contract management experience. Proven ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder, or matrixed organizations, and to collaborate effectively in ambiguous contexts with a diverse range of voices and functions. Proven experience navigating and thriving in environments undergoing significant organizational change, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and a proactive approach to evolving challenges. * The salary range for this role is $137,500 to $206,200 USD. We recognize high-wage market differences where our offices are located, in Seattle, WA & Washington D.C. The range for this role in these locations is $149,800 to $224,600 USD. As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission and new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the range minimum and the salary range midpoint.
