Senior Software Engineer -Clinical Applications

What you'll be doing
  • Using strong computer science fundamentals, write highly-performant, scalable, and secure software with C# (.NET) for cloud-native deployments to AWS.
  • Instill good engineering culture principles by leading, mentoring, and improving the BioDashboard software team.
  • Contribute to a positive DevOps culture--teach us how to be more efficient and toil less.
  • Achieve good automated unit test coverage, and automate deployments.
  • Develop, Scale, and Maintain the BioDashboard infrastructure to support the expanding customer needs, including:
  • User facing features
  • Backend data processing components
  • Data acquisition
  • Create necessary CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and ensure superior reliability of the overall system.
  • Take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
  • Provide rotational after-hours support as required.
  • Provide technical sales support for BioIntelliSense sales opportunities as needed.


What you bring
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years production software development experience with modern .NET, C#, with web development experience (WebAssembly, WebSockets, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
  • Production experience working with high-scale SaaS and/or distributed systems built for the cloud (Azure/GCP/AWS) and Infrastructure deployment with TerraForm.
  • Solid database experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, or similar.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with team members and customers.
  • Experience in horizontal and vertical scaling of cloud-based systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with customers in both pre-sales and post-sales environments.
  • Ability to self-manage and complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Background in Healthcare Information Technology
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements and compliance.
  • Knowledge of medical technology industry tools and standards: Web services, APIs, HL7 and FHIR.
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, and similar EHR systems.
  • Experience with EMR system level messages (HL7, FHIR, etc.)
  • Experience with providing healthcare related integration support and maintenance.


$140,000 - $180,000 a year
Exempt- Full time Employee
Salary Range $140k-$180k
