Associates degree in electronics or biomedical electronics required. Previous military biomedical experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of four years biomedical experience required.
Technical skills necessary to effectively perform incoming inspections, equipment installations, repairs, preventive maintenance and all other related tasks.
Ability to properly use test equipment, interpret schematics, understand service documentation and utilize service software.
Strong I.T. and computer skills required.
Must possess advanced analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with good attention to detail.
Knowledge and understanding of all applicable codes and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Interpersonal skills necessary to develop positive interactions with co-workers in order to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Ability to document work in a timely and accurate manner.
Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet deadlines for completion.
Must be self-motivated and responsible.
Must meet the insurability policy requirements to drive a CHKD vehicle.
Must be able to pass the CHKD driving test within 30 days of employment.
