Account Executive

Our SelectLeaders' client is seeking a dedicated Account Executive with a background working with affordable housing owners and operators to drive business for their water purification platform and technology.


Our client installs, monitors, and services industry-trusted water technology that ensures every drop in your building meets the highest standards.

Working with them means joining a dynamic, mission-driven team that’s transforming water quality in commercial and residential real estate. The technology isn’t just about purification—it’s about creating safer, healthier spaces and improving building performance from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the affordable housing market, including housing developers, property management companies, government agencies.
  •  Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to adapt sales approaches and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that highlight the benefits of our solutions in the affordable housing context.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, and customer service) to align sales strategies with company goals and ensure client satisfaction.


Qualifications:
  • Experience in the affordable housing sector is required.
  • Deep understanding of affordable housing programs, including LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, HUD programs, and other federal, state, and local initiatives.
  • Knowledge of tenant relations, lease administration, and rent collection in regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong networking abilities and established connections within the affordable housing sector.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for affordable housing and a desire to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
