Role Overview:
As an Associate Account Executive at Blackpoint, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with MSPs, understanding their unique cybersecurity challenges, and positioning our solutions as the ideal choice to meet their needs. Your role is crucial in our efforts to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.
You should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with strong computer and communication skills. Successful Associate AE’s will be skilled communicators and presenters who can find the best fit between client and product. The ideal candidate will be able, organized, passionate about client relations, and focused on enhancing the buyer experience.
This role will be based in Denver, CO or Columbia, MD on a hybrid basis.
What You'll Do:
Making calls and reaching out to prospects and partners
Scheduling demos to demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers.
Developing sales pipeline and attaining quota.
Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
Track progress towards meeting sales goals
Contact prospective and existing customers by using the Blackpoint CRM tool to reach marketing generated prospects or prospective customers via business directories and other list sources.
Contact new and existing prospects via phone and email to discuss their needs and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
Gain and maintain access to decision makers and end-users in prospective and existing client companies.
Maintain account records in Blackpoint (CRM) tool.
Develop a solid understanding of Blackpoint products and stay up to date on both industry trends and internal product development.
Research emerging technologies, trends, and competitive information
Ensure qualification targets/ objectives are achieved monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in Cybersecurity or Managed Services.
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability to change
A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
