Principal Frontend Engineer
Blitz is a rapidly growing startup focused on providing personalized stats and insights for gamers. They are looking for a Principal Frontend Engineer to enhance gaming experiences through interactive mobile applications and dynamic overlays.
Skills
- Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong understanding of advanced JavaScript concepts
- Experience with service worker scripts and caching
- Problem-solving skills and untangling complex codebases
- Emotional intelligence and effective communication
- Performance tuning and building high-speed applications
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand the existing complex codebase
- Refactor, optimize, and simplify codebase for scalability
- Implement state management solutions using advanced JavaScript concepts
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in TypeScript
- Develop and maintain service worker scripts for caching and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a seamless user experience
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship
- Work on performance tuning and application optimization
- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
