Fairchild Books, an imprint of Bloomsbury Publishing, is seeking an editorial intern for the Summer/Fall 2025 cycle. We are a publisher of academic titles located in Midtown/Herald Square. We are the leading publisher in Fashion and Interior Design textbooks.
This internship will be hybrid, with 8 hours in the office and 12 hours working from home.
Position Profile
As a small team, our interns are a key part of our day-to-day operations. As a Fairchild editorial intern, you will work with the Editorial team on a variety of projects that reflect the diverse aspects of academic publishing.

Duration
The internship will run from Tuesday, May 26th, 2025 through Friday, December 19th, 2025. We require a commitment of 20 hours per week (specific schedule to be arranged with your supervisor) for the entire internship term.

Location
Please note that, due to COVID-19, this position will be hybrid, with 8 hours in the office and 12 hours working from homeworking from home until further notice. Candidates must reside in NY, NJ, CT, or PA and be able to commute to Bloomsbury USA’s New York City office.
