Customer Solutions Representative

Summary – The Customer Solutions Representative I is responsible for sales support and order management. They act as a liaison between our customers, sales team, brokers and Blount operations/logistics teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process customer purchase orders received by EDI, fax, email and telephone.
Provide complete information on product availability, pricing, expected ship dates, and invoicing questions.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers, the Blount sales team, Blount broker representatives, and all internal Blount departments.
Coordinate consumer and customer complaint activities. Recognize and escalate high priority consumer issues. Respect and ensure consumer confidentiality.
Provide timely and effective responses/resolutions to customer issues and needs.
Work with logistics and warehousing to proactively address customer and/or delivery issues.
Work with production planning regarding inventory and product availability issues.
Assist in ecommerce order processing and inventory management.

Education and/or Experience

2+ years of customer service and/or consumer affairs experience in a manufacturing environment desired (food processing preferred).
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associate degree from two-year college or university preferred.
