The Associate Product Owner for CX Digital & Experience Design will support BlueCrossMN.com and will be responsible for defining the product vision for our public website and managing the product delivery process. The Associate Product Owner partners with product management and stakeholders to translate BlueCrossMN.com product strategy into detailed product vision. As the Associate Product Owner for BlueCrossMN.com, you should have the ability to plan and manage product strategy, development and day-to-day oversight to ensure that the product and supporting technologies meet the customers’ needs. This role will also be accountable for management, configuration and administration of a core set of technologies that support BlueCrossMN.com. The Assoc Product Owner partners with an agile delivery team and stakeholders to foster an environment of continuous delivery and improvement. Ultimately, a top-notch Associate Product Owner will be results driven and have excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills.A Day in the Life:· Serves as the "voice of the product" and therefore is the liaison between the CX Digital & Experience Design (CDX) team, our stakeholders and the Scrum teams, translating features into user stories within a backlog and managing, ranking and prioritizing this backlog so that it is reflective of stakeholder requirements and priorities. Products in scope for this role are inclusive of BlueCrossMN.com and associated technologies, including but not limited to: Acquia Drupal web content management system (CMS), Acquia digital asset management (DAM) system, Siteimprove web quality tool, Smartsheet workflow management tool and process and more.· Final signoff and acceptance responsibility for user stories/features and backlog items.· Collaborate with team(s) and stakeholder(s) to discover and deliver the best solution to the market problem(s) presented by the Product Manager (business).· Works with the business to understand and prioritize stakeholder needs and plan solutions to ensure that each release provides business value to end users.· Manage the solution concept development process to ensure the product team understands the direction and vision.· Create and maintain backlog ownership of work through the product life cycle.· Utilize best practices to create user stories/backlog items and their acceptance criteria.· Help provide input into business cases and translate into product backlog stories/items.· Serve as the Product Management (business) proxy and decision point to represent the stakeholders.· Review and accept/reject results both during a Sprint and in the Sprint review.· Attend sprint ceremonies and be available to team during the sprint for clarifications and acceptance of user stories.· Capture and prioritize issues or incidents for the team backlog.· Present work to Team from backlog during Sprint Planning for acceptance by the Team in a Sprint, negotiate Sprint goals with the Team.· Encourage innovation and experimentation on teams to drive team engagement.· Responsible to manage, configure and administer these technologies on a day-to-day basis, including managing vendor relationships and coordinating capability assessments, facilitating team and stakeholder training and technology use, executing user provisioning, user role creation and ensuring we’re maximizing the technology capabilities to the full extent.Required Skills and Experiences:· 2+ years of Product Ownership and/or Product Management experience or bachelor’s degree. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.· Experience managing SAAS software solutions· Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills· Experience interacting confidently with key stakeholders as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making· Strong written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties· Ability to embody Blue Cross’s values and represent as a digital experience thought leader.· Experience working with a variety of content management systems (CMS) and workflow tools.· Results-oriented approach driven by organization and consumer goals.Nice to Have:· Experience as an Agile team member· Experience as an Agile/JIRA product owner· Experience working in the managed care/healthcare insurance industry· One of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe PM/PO or LeSS· Experience managing and configuring MarTech platforms such as web content management systems (CMS), digital asset management systems (DAM), marketing automation platforms, web analytics platforms, testing and optimization platforms.· Bachelor's degree.· Background in CX / UX / Design Thinking.Role Designation:Hybrid RemoteRole designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote.
