ID: 23720Summary:Lincoln Electric is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer who will support PC board troubleshooting within the Lincoln's Electronics Factory. They will also be responsible for leading and driving improvements related to design and manufacturing. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a global leader in its industry.In addition to career growth potential, Lincoln Electric offers competitive pay with a lucrative annual profit sharing incentive, student loan repayment, tuition reimbursement, paid time off/paid holidays, retirement, medical/dental/vision and much more!Responsibilities:• Direct important and potentially complex technical investigations.• Lead capability and DFM studies for quality improvements; lead improvements in PC board testing.• Engineer and support safe, high quality, cost effective, ergonomic, and environmentally responsible manufacturing of PC boards for the Electronics Factory.• Develop documentation and troubleshooting guides for new products to be launched.• Drive and resolve issues with testing, manufacturing, and design to support production.• Proactively drive improvements to improve first pass yield.• Collaborate with R&D, Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and other Electronics Factory employees to improve quality, manufacturability, and value of PC board designs.• Interact professionally and effectively as a liaison to external resources such as equipment suppliers, consultants, and technical organizations.• May direct the evaluation and implementation of employee suggestions.• Perform cost analysis and initiate implementation of cost reductions.• Create and continuously improve effective training resources/work instructions for production employees.Education & Experience Required:• Minimum of a bachelor’s degrees in an electronics engineering field with 5+ years engineering experience.• Broad understanding of board design and design tools.• Ability to read and create electrical schematics.• Strong understanding of and ability to use Lean methodology tools to drive continuous improvement.• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with excellent organizational skills to manage a variety of assignments and changing priorities.• Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge and experience to projects that result in significant positive change to the service level, quality, and value provided by the Electronics Factory.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, protected veteran status or disability.Lincoln Electric is a $3.2B publicly traded company (NASDAQ) with over 11,000 employees around the world.
