If you’re driven to tackle the most complex challenges in autonomy and push the boundaries of what is possible, we want to hear from you.Duties and Responsibilities• Responsibility for onboarding software infrastructure for robotic sensing systems (Sensors, compute, Device drivers, network communication)• Responsible for continuous process optimization.• Develop custom robot application code to interface with new technologies.• Support maintenance team in troubleshooting hardware breakdowns and equipment failures.• Project management: both internal maintenance projects, and major contractor projects.• Develop procedures and maintain proper documentation related to robotics systems.Qualifications and Experience• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.• 5+ years experience.• Experience developing device drivers and working with various hardware such as sensors, including but not limited to Lidar, radar, camera, IMU, GPS, odometer, wheel encoder, etc.• Experience developing perception algorithms and solving time synchronization using software/hardware synchronization techniques across different sensors.• Experience with robotic programming and applications.• Hands-on experience with commissioning and programming industrial robots.• Robotic, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting skills.• Virtual commissioning experience of a robotics system is a plus.• Knowledge on programming languages such as ROS, Python, Java, C, C++, HTML,Extra Credit• Experience with Robot simulation packages, as well as off-line programing• Experience on robotics applications such as Spot Weld, Stud Weld, Adhesive, Self Piercing Rivet, Vision, Arc Weld, Roll hemming• Experience working in the automotive industry.$125,000 - $200,000 a yearBlueSpace.aI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
