Our marketers are "all in" and have an opportunity to do a little bit of everything. Designing and developing client qualifications, proposals, and presentations take top priority because these deliverables support bringing in new work. Additionally, our team members have opportunities to coordinate events, develop content for social media, visit job sites for a ground-breaking photo or milestone event, and help with community volunteer efforts through the Barton Malow Foundation.

Core Responsibilities
Manage and mentor marketing specialists
Assist with marketing budget and marketing plan development
Collaborate with business development to determine best strategy in responding to client requests
Develop materials, programs and events to develop brand loyalty with new and existing clients including the ability to write/create custom technical content
Prepare/Coach individuals and project teams for presentations to clients, partners, and the industry
Ability to manage branding activities, including but not limited to external communications, internal initiatives, and/or other special projects
Actively participates in industry or community organizations
Lead various events, initiatives, strategic planning items, and standard practice reviews/creation
Key Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in MAC OS
Proficient in Adobe InDesign
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. is a plus
Proficient in writing RFP responses, descriptions, cover letters, and other marketing material needs
RFP/RFQ experience: Advanced
Ability to edit content for quality, accuracy, and readability
Knowledge of Content Management Systems
Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks at a time
Detail-oriented and organized
AEC Industry Knowledge: Intermediate (I+II) to Advanced (Senior)
Experience Level:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of marketing experience in the AEC recommended
Non-degree must have 7+ years of relevant AEC experience required
Certified Professional Services Marketers or equivalent certification preferred
