Vice President, Strategic Initiatives - Investment Management

Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting an Associate to join the Investment Management Practice Group in our Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, or Washington D.C. offices. Candidates must list the office in which they wish to be considered for in the requested cover letter. We are seeking candidates with at least 3 - 8 years' experience in the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related regulations. Candidates should have experience representing registered investment companies, including the preparation and review of registration statements and offering documents, board meeting materials, investment management agreements and related materials.Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, a can-do, problem-solving attitude, intrinsic motivation, and strong academic credentials are required. This position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. This is a hybrid position which generally calls for two days in the office.The salary range for this position is $250,000 - $415,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
