Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join and support the Government Training Execution Team within its Supply Chain Organization in Hazelwood, MO and Dallas, TX. The position will consist of ensuring on-time delivery of production/spares support of Government Training Programs. The successful candidates will be expected to serve as the primary execution support focal for assigned delivery requirements and support U.S. and Non-U.S Government Military customers.Position Responsibilities:• Validating supplier schedules on an ongoing basis• Managing high volume of purchase requirements to ensure purchase order placement• Developing solutions to complex problems with solutions that are consistent with organization objectives• Performing analysis on requirements and supplier schedules to accommodate numerous customer requirements• Partnering with numerous ancillary functions to ensure customer commitments are met• The candidate will serve as a primary focal and external spokesperson for the team on major matters pertaining to the performance and delivery of government training spares and material, and will be required to compile and present performance data to various levels of management• Assist in identification and resolution of supply chain management constraints, discrepancies, and risks that impact on-time delivery and revenue capture• Assist in monitoring performance metrics, perform trend analysis and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure strong financial performance and on-time delivery of spares contracts• Primary systems and tool’s include SCARS, SMPP, NWP, MS2, GOLD, and Microsoft ExcelThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):• 3+ years of experience working in a Supply Chain related role• 3+ years of experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills• 3+ years of experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions• 3+ years of experience in a role that required the ability to work both independently and collaboratively• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word• 3+ years of work experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheetPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain, or related field• Basic understanding of and experience working with Constraint Based Scheduling• 1+ years of experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)• 1+ years of experience with the GOLD system• 1+ years of experience do you in proposal development, contract negotiations and/or contract execution with U.S. Government CustomersTypical Education/Experience:Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
