The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services BGS is seeking a Systems Engineer - Airworthiness to provide support for Long Beach, California. We are looking for innovative, enthusiastic, and highly collaborative teammates that have unlimited curiosity and a passion for diving into design architecture details. This engineer will be interested in supporting C-17 airplane programs in services and modernization with airworthiness assignments to sustain airplane programs with new design changes implemented to the fleet.
The team's broad work statement will provide the opportunity to perform airworthiness at the component, system, and airplane level across a broad range of functional disciplines, including Avionics, Mechanical, Environmental, Electrical, and Propulsion. We are looking for individuals that are adept at evaluating system architectures to determine the consequences of design change to process through the airworthiness processes and can collaborate with Design Engineers to provide various artifacts/data that meet the regulations.
Strong candidates will have an engineering background, with a solid understanding of certification processes. You can contribute to work that matters. You'll be an integral part of supporting the continued safe operation of the C-17 fleets.
