Find your future with us.Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) seeks and experienced Test Equipment Project Engineer to serve as a Joint Common Test Set (JCTS) Program Integrator on the Cruise Missile Systems (CMS) team located in St. Charles, Missouri.In this role, you will serve as the project manager and primary leadership interface for the JCTS production and sustaining program, handle day-to-day program performance, and support the JCTS Program Manager. This will afford you significant development opportunities through internal leadership engagement as well as project management.Our team is part of the Space, Intelligence and Weapon Systems (SIWS) organization, and is within Precision Engagement Systems (PES). CMS is a dynamic and growing team with leadership that is focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions connected to Harpoon, SLAM ER, and development weapon system customer missions. The International Execution program provides 30+ foreign military operators with full-spectrum support of the Harpoon and SLAM ER missiles, launch systems, and test and support systems. JCTS program produces complex factory test equipment and provides associated logistics and support elements. Equipment is produced for, installed in, and sustained by customer operators around the world and Boeing production teams onsite.Position Responsibilities:• Work with internal departments on contract performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM).• Monitor work order and material purchase requisition creation and burndown. Identify and track procurement and build progress. Address work stoppages in Boeing assembly areas and supply chains. Ensure on time delivery of each JCTS in execution.• Manage deliverables by defining plans for risk mitigation, issues, and opportunities. Monitor baseline plans to assess project performance, productivity, and lessons learned. Navigate inputs and constraints between hardware, software, integration and test, and other contributing functions to the culmination of a complete JCTS delivery.• Establish priorities based on customer needs. Provide technical, business, and integration leadership for the development and execution of the project plans.• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to keep them informed of significant events. Respond to customer actions. Inform internal stakeholders of program concerns. Continually apprise internal departments of customer expectations, and external customers of program status.• Lead proposal development efforts and implement Statements of Work (SOW) to satisfy ongoing and new business requirements.• Ensure that the customer has a fully supported weapon system. Review pre-contract requirements. Support negotiations. Ensure that contract final form meets the needs of PMA-201, the International Customers, and Boeing.Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; domestically or internationally depending on business needs.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.• 5+ years of experience providing technical leadership to cross-functional engineering projects.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):• Experience with Enterprise or Manufacturing Resource Planning (ERP/MRP) workflows.• Experience in a BDS production or manufacturing process environment.• Experience in Boeing procurement, supply chain, or supplier management business practices.• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
