Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services is seeking a Wheel and Brake Technician (Entry Level or Experienced) to join their team in Van Nuys, CA.Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry Level or Experienced Wheel and Brake Technicians.Position Responsibilities:• Performs simple production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations• Assemble and test hydraulic and hose assemblies in accordance with all relevant and applicable technical data and publications• Follow all policies and procedures, and all safety rules and regulations• Perform other duties as assignedThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Van Nuys, CA.This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) random drug and alcohol testing.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently• Ability to work in a team environment (and interact effectively with team members from non technical disciplines)• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift• Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaksPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):• 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience• High school diploma or equivalent• Experience with SAP• Mechanical and/or hydraulic experience• Ability to read and understand complex technical publication and diagrams/blueprints• Lean production/Six Sigma knowledge or experience• Troubleshooting experienceTypical Education/Experience:Entry Level (Level A):Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).Experienced (Level B):Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
