Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Event Security Manager who will be embedded on Netflix’s Enterprise Security team. You will be responsible for advancing Netflix’s Event Security Program.

Essential Job Functions
- Build an end to end process for corporate event security management and execution.
- Build templates for event security planning, including pre and post event needs.
- Manage the end-to-end life cycle of events to ensure the safety and security of Netflix’s people, operations, and assets.
- Manage all event intake and triage.
- Partner with different security vendors for staffing and technology needs per event plan.
- Collaborate with business partners on smooth event execution with minimal disruption.
- Serve as a business enabler while maintaining security guidelines.
- Work closely with all security functions at Netflix.
- Ability to travel regionally as required (approximately 30%).
- Align with Netflix’s Enterprise Security Team and other key stakeholders on risks associated with each Netflix event and how to address them. This role should identify, assess, and prioritize the risks and suggest appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Lead the planning and execution of security operations management as it relates to Netflix’s events.
- Conduct regular after-action reviews and lessons learned to improve the response capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Security, Business, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in security operations at a multinational company.
- Expert level experience with both on and off site event security management and planning.
- One or more professional certifications, such as CPP, PSP, CISSP, or other comparable certifications.
- Experience with physical security operations that include a strong customer service element.
- Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes; advanced ability to handle sensitive, highly-nuanced interactions with people despite situations that may be complex, stressful, or unfamiliar.
- Proven track record of strong cross functional relations.
- Ability to work proactively and constructively in a team setting, as well as individually with little day-to-day oversight.
- Experience working with production, tech, media/entertainment, or content creation.
