Booth Cleaner

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Booth Cleaner will work as needed as a support for Facility Services in overseeing booth cleaning for various events.

POSITION DUTIES:

Follow simple written or verbal instructions from duty Supervisor.
Knowledge to used handheld vacuum, broom and cleaning equipment.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Lifting, carrying and pulling equipment of various size, shape, and weight.
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must speak, understand, read and write English well enough to communicate with supervisors and employees, and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Must have the ability to work under general direction
Must have be professional and neat in appearance.

Previous Union experience is preferred
Ability to multi-task in a fast paces environment.
Must be available to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; sit; stand.

Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete and/or carpeted surface for up to 8 hours. You will be required to push, pull 50 pounds occasionally and lift or carry up to 30 pounds often and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
