As a Lead User Experience (UX) Designer, you put yourself in the user’s place to understand the best ways they can engage with the system. We’re looking for someone creative like you to develop the ultimate user experience.In this role, you’ll collaborate with UX designers and product managers to understand your clients’ vision and their users’ needs. Working on an Agile team, you’ll act as a storyteller, translating research into actionable user insights. You’ll lead the full spectrum of the digital creative process, including information architecture, interface design, and product implementation and development. Your experience with information architecture, interface design, and product implementation and development will help you advocate for the prioritizations of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements while keeping the end-user at the center of your work.Join us. The world can’t wait.You Have:• 7+ years of experience with User Interface (UI) and User Experience design• Experience with design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch• Experience in user research, usability testing, and design thinking• Experience in Agile development• Ability to apply visual design expertise with a focus on clean, modern design• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement UX strategies, evangelize the importance of UX design, and promote a user-centered culture within an organization• Secret clearance• Bachelor’s degree• UX Design CertificationNice If You Have:• Ability to collaborate with the product owner and liaise between the technical team and the client to establish a common understanding of requirements and design• Knowledge of the overall software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) and activities• Possession of excellent communication and collaboration skillsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
