The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division and is focused on bringing solutions to the market that are shaping the smart cities of the future. The company is a leading international provider of systems, solutions and services that increase the safety of people, buildings and property and also contribute to greater comfort, energy efficiency and sustainability. With about 1.200 employees, its success lies in the highly specialized and innovative team and technological know-how.
Currently, the three product areas - Video Systems, Access Control & Intrusion and Communication Systems, as well as the associated cross-divisional functions within the division are to be set up as a new independent company and then further developed as a sustainable core business by a new owner.
Your contribution to something big:
• Be part of packaging development for security and safety products;
• Participate in the definition of packaging technical specifications;
• Work with suppliers to optimize and troubleshoot packaging issues;
• Follow-up on new projects up to mass production;
• Support rebranding activities.
What distinguishes you:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred;
• Knowledge in SolidWorks and ArtiosCAD;
• Proficiency in English;
• Ability to identify problems, develop solutions and implement them within the organization;
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail;
• Ability to communicate effetively.
