Position Summary:
The Team Lead – Sia Product is responsible for coordinating the production order flow through the Sia area in an organized, efficient, and timely manner. This role ensures all production stages are completed across departments in alignment with safety, quality, and productivity expectations. The Team Lead serves as a liaison between departments, communicates production priorities, supports team execution, and maintains accurate reporting and material oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily execution of production orders in the Sia Abrasive area; ensure timely completion and accuracy across all stages.
Communicate daily production requirements and ensure alignment with planning and scheduling.
Direct and assign work schedules on the production floor; adjust as needed to meet operational priorities.
Act as a liaison between operations, planning, quality, warehouse, and maintenance.
Print, organize, and distribute physical production orders to relevant workstations.
Run and analyze daily and weekly reports for open deliveries and shipment statuses for Sia products.
Monitor MRO inventory levels, supplies, and printer functionality; submit MRO requests when thresholds are reached.
Support resolution of supplier-related issues for assigned commodities.
Investigate and document supplier quality complaints for damaged components (include quantity, issue description, supplier name, and location found).
Prepare and coordinate production line documentation (orders, quality alerts, work instructions).
Maintain cleanliness and organization in areas of responsibility; implement and audit daily 5S/housekeeping plans.
Use Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) to identify, coordinate, and ship production orders.
Track and report daily labor hours, accuracy, and productivity metrics for the Sia area.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required;
OR 5+ years of commensurate experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting in lieu of diploma.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, materials management, or team leadership in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Working knowledge of MRP systems (SAP, JDA/Blue Yonder, or similar WMS systems).
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) preferred.
Familiarity with ISO standards, BPS, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen practices.
Knowledge of production planning principles, inventory management, and material flow.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $21.37 - $25.44 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
