Project Engineer
Overview
The Project Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the successful design, implementation, and delivery of client compressor system projects. This involves a deep understanding of operational parameters, adherence to engineering codes and standards, and effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design and Functionality: Ensure the plant's design and operation align with client specifications.
Project Management: Efficiently manage projects to meet client requirements and contractual obligations.
Technical Specifications: Prepare detailed specifications for accessories, evaluate supplier offers, and maintain technical communication with suppliers.
Optimization: Consistently work to standardize processes and optimize engineering hours and costs.
Sales Support: Provide technical assistance to Sales Engineers during complex offer phases.
Plant Design Guidance: Offer technical direction to plant designers.
Documentation: Maintain project documents and electronic files, including equipment data sheets.
Technical Support: Assist colleagues in Engineering, Sales, and CSS with technical expertise.
Inspections and Testing: Coordinate inspections, testing, and shipping activities, acting as a liaison between project management, suppliers, and packagers.
Quality Assurance: Report any deficiencies or non-compliance related to projects.
Safety: Adhere to and promote safety requirements as outlined in the company's safety manual.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering.
Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience with rotating equipment, reciprocating compressors, or related processes.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ANSI and ASME codes.
Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, both technical and creative. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. "Can do" attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Additional Requirements: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Primarily an office/production setting with moderate noise levels.
Requires repetitive hand and finger movements, as well as fine motor skills.
May involve moderate travel (up to 10%).
Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional overtime.
