About the role

Braintrust is looking for our first Sales Development Manager to focus on hiring, developing, and leading a highly driven team of sales development representatives. 

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of SDRs, the strategy and operations of our outbound & inbound sales motions, and the data expert on our sales development team. 

What you’ll do

  • Hire, onboard, and develop exceptional SDR talent

  • Train the SDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities

  • Build a playbook across different segments of the business to generate consistent opportunity flow for the sales team

  • Ensure SDRs improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback 

  • Foster a winning culture and high-energy environment where people love coming to work

  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity

Ideal candidate credentials

  • 2-4+ years of managing and developing SDRs at fast-paced, high-growth companies

  • Deep experience with CRM software and SDR tooling

  • Experience executing an outbound multichannel strategy

  • Lead with a player-coach mentality: you’re hands-on and empower your teams to creatively problem solve

  • Located in San Francisco and willing to come into the office 5 days a week
