Be you ... be here.Job SummaryThe Marketing Strategist, Paid Digital Channel Marketing is responsible for the execution of paid digital marketing channel strategy, proving the efficacy of new-to-bank tactics, and developing marketing channel standards and proof points for marketing optimization. Marketing channel development includes paid search, paid social media (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), programmatic (display, audio, video), and affiliate channels. This position works closely with their leader on marketing channel strategy and day-to-day channel marketing execution involving multiple stakeholders including various internal groups, brand partners and external agencies/vendors to develop and scale marketing programs. This position requires a strong eye for detail, clear & concise writing ability, exceptional communication skills, an analytical mindset, and an ability to effectively partner cross-functionally. Core responsibilities include leading the execution of marketing channel campaign plans for acquisition and retention/usage in emerging and established digital channels and overseeing internal and external partner execution support. This role contributes to marketing planning within their paid digital marketing channel expertise with oversight from their Senior Manager/Manager.Essential Job Functions• Marketing Execution: Key contributor to marketing channel campaign planning and tactics to drive accretive acquisition or product usage value for Bread Financial. Works independently to execute marketing channel tactics in partnership with peers in Marketing Operations or external vendors. Identifies opportunities for process optimization and finding efficiencies in management of marketing tactics. Owns internal program strategy briefs & maintain business rules. Facilitates communications with internal partners on channel marketing standards, fluently representing appropriate proof points and case studies.• Business Relationships: Collaborates with internal and external partners to execute marketing channel campaigns. Facilitates creative updates among other requirements unique to marketing channels. Maintains a relationship with counterparts at external agencies/vendors and internal Marketing Operations related to day-to-day management of campaign activation, campaign reporting, etc. and makes decisions related to day-to-day execution of campaigns with input from leaders.• Delivery and Implementation: Accountable to deliver channel marketing go-to-market plans and learning agendas, in tight collaboration with internal and external cross-functional teams. Independently offers feedback and recommendations to go-to-market plans, enabling execution of strategies and tactics, and summarizing results for publication to various audiences internally and externally.• Reporting and Documentation: Assists in coordination with Marketing Performance analytics partners for ongoing marketing channel campaign performance reporting. Contributes to marketing channel hindsight analyses and insights for reporting performance to department leadership. Oversees teams’ implementation of necessary legal, compliance and ERM practices and/or documentation to remove barriers to execution and mitigate regulatory concerns. Regularly reviews performance reporting internally, contributes to optimization recommendations in collaboration with leaders.Reports to: Senior Manager/Manager, [Channel] Marketing (Digital Marketing, Direct Marketing, POS Marketing)Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:• Normal office environment, some travel may be required.• This position is hybrid with an onsite schedule of 3-4 days per month. Because job content may change from time to time, the Company reserves the right to add and/or delete essential functions from this job at any time.Typical Starting Range:$79,500.00 - $144,100.00Full Salary Range for position:California: $91,500.00 - $180,100.00Colorado: $79,500.00 - $151,300.00New York: $87,500.00 - $180,100.00Washington: $83,500.00 - $165,700.00The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time (“PSST”) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December.
