Field Service Technician

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will conduct field service inspections and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists at our customers' facilities in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. This role encompasses various trades. Compensation is hourly and depends on education, skills, experience, and communication proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Trouble shoot and repair industrial machinery (Overhead Cranes and Hoist)
  • Perform inspections and testing of machinery.
  • Communicate with customers, assist them with solutions. 
  • Complete and turn in field reports that capture all time and work completed on site
  • Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, or preventative maintenance to customers
  • Complete on-site system audits and evaluations
  • Practice and adhere to all safety and training
  • Will be on a Rotation on call for Emergency after hours Services 
  • Work nights, weekend and Holidays as needed
  • Keep the company Service Truck clean, organized and well stocked 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Industrial 3 phase controls
  • Familiarity with industrial machinery
  • Excellent root cause analysis skills
  • Ability to work well in teams and with customers. 
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Clean Driving Record no major issue like DUI or too many points.
  • Must be able to pass background check and random Drug tests.
  • Good physical health

After 90-day probation period:

5% Match 100% vested 401K plan

Laundered Uniforms

Field service technicians that pass tech 1 qualifications are assigned a Service vehicle that they take home. (Not for personal use)

Paid training and Education Courses.

Technicians that have passed tech 1 requirements. Receive double time on Sundays, Time and half on Saturdays. Overtime after their normal hours during the week. (Regardless of how many hours they worked during the week. Holidays are double time and holiday weekends are double time. Opportunity for additional Bonuses.

2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year. 3 weeks paid vacation after 5 years.
