We seek a Payment Data Analyst to join our team! Analyze & interpret complex datasets, identify trends & insights, & translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
As a Payment Data Analyst you will:- Analyze payment gateway transaction data, including successes, failures, chargebacks, and refunds. Your analysis will help us understand the nuances of transaction performance.
- Identify trends and patterns within the world of transaction failures to unearth root causes. This role gives you the chance to contribute directly to the reduction of payment issues.
- Reduce our chargeback level by creating an automated tool to contest it.
- Investigate transaction data across different regions to pinpoint performance variations, offering insights that guide targeted improvements.
- Create detailed reports that not only highlight essential metrics and trends but also outline recommendations for enhancing our operations.
- Collaborate with the pricing team to brainstorm and implement solutions aimed at reducing payment failures, impacting our customer experience positively.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest in payment gateway technologies and regulations to ensure our approaches remain relevant and effective.
What will contribute to your success:- 2-4 years of experience in data and/or payment specialist function.
- A good level of SQL and Excel is essential for success in this role.
- Fast learner with curiosity about analytical business challenges
- Logical and data-driven thinking with strong attention to details, Interest in finance, payment
- Nice to have: Previous experience with a data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Metabase, Looker)
