This position acts as a project and implementation manager with responsibility for design of certain strategies and initiatives, project execution, implementation of best processes/practices and change management, feedback, and continuous improvement.You will be successful in this role if you are skilled at leading by example in delivery of high-impact, cross-functional, and cross-regional projects. You have an innate ability to leverage both strategic and tactical thinking, and known for working successfully across all levels of an organization. including Senior.This role reports to the Director of Global Legal Operations and the Vice President and General Counsel for Corporate Compliance for Bridgestone West.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for building and fostering relationships across cultures and functions to plan and deliver on strategic initiatives for the Global Law Department.Drive on-budget, on-time outcomes and produce high-quality work products. This role can vary from providing advisory support during project planning and standup to strategizing, managing change and leading/driving projects across their full lifecycles.Support Global Law Department leaders in clearly articulating project status to multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed global environment, adjusting messaging and tone to suit.When supporting project standup, serve as a facilitator/consultant to ensure projects are properly kicked off and set up for success.Lead global project teams composed of Law Department members to develop and execute an internal communication strategy to ensure department members remain informed and up to date about globalization initiative priorities, progress, accomplishments, and ways to contribute.Managing aspects of the Global Legal and Compliance Budget (e.g., overseeing the reimbursement process from BSAM to BSJ, quarterly projections, reductions when requested, updates to the Group Global General Counsel and the Global Law Leadership Team, and OBUD planning.Minimum QualificationsTypically requires a minimum of 5 working years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience10+ years’ experience in legal or related functionsExperience with business transformation and change managementExperience leading cross-cultural initiatives across the project lifecycleTravel: Approximate travel - 2x per month and 2-3 international trips per yearBridgestone is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
