Part time Medical Assistant - GLP1 Weight loss service

Located in Edina, MN just minutes from the Southdale Mall, Bright Medical Wellness, LLC is the premier weight loss clinic and health and wellness med spa. We provide our patients with a variety of products and services to assist with weight loss, weight management, beauty and wellness treatments. Bright medical Wellness, LLC is seeking part time Certified Medical Assistants to join our amazing team! The ideal candidate will be a Certified Medical Assistant who has at least two years of experience working in a medical office or hospital. We are willing to train the right Certified Medical Assistant, who has received certification but does not yet have work experience. This is a great opportunity for a medical professional looking to gain experience and exposure to the health and wellness industry. We are a rapidly growing medical practice working alongside a team who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. You will have the opportunity to learn about weight loss methods, GLP-1 medications and services that will add to your experience in the future. Pay is DoE but will be ranging from $23-$28 / hour

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Certified Medical Assistant credentials
  • Experience taking vitals
  • Ability to administer injections
  • High level of computer literacy, including experience using MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to access and accurately record electronic health records
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with patients
  • Highly self-motivated team player with a willingness to assist with back-office duties such as answering phones, sanitizing patient rooms, filing and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently; takes initiative without being asked
  • High level of professionalism with an excellent attendance record.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
