Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Marketing Designer to lead our visual brand strategy and marketing creative efforts. In this role, you'll work directly with the CEO and cross-functional teams to create compelling, performance-driven design solutions across our digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and sales materials. The ideal candidate combines strong design craft with marketing acumen, bringing both creative excellence and data-informed decision-making to our fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive visual strategies that strengthen our brand identity
Develop and maintain scalable design systems across brand workstreams
Create and optimize landing pages and product marketing assets
Design visual content for paid, organic, and social media channels
Lead creative direction for product launches and growth marketing initiatives
Create high-impact marketing collateral, including sales decks and promotional materials
Design and optimize campaign assets across multiple platforms
Develop visual content for email marketing campaigns and social media
Collaborate with CEO and marketing team to align creative vision with business objectives
Partner with external agencies and freelancers on specialized design projects
Provide creative direction and maintain brand consistency across all channels
Articulate creative strategies through project briefs and narratives
Analyze creative asset performance in partnership with analytics team
Synthesize data insights to optimize marketing visual communications
Iterate on design assets based on performance metrics and user feedback
Track and report on campaign visual effectiveness
What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will be a strong generalist designer who has extensive experience collaborating with marketing teams on ads, emails, landing pages and more, is deeply user-centric, and loves to iterate, test, and learn
5+ years of professional design experience
2+ years specifically in marketing design and ad campaigns
Proven track record of improving campaign performance through design
Experience with multi-channel marketing campaigns (Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Email)
Expert proficiency in design software: After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and user journeys
Knowledge of current design trends and best practices
Experience with responsive design and digital platforms
Portfolio demonstrating exceptional design fundamentals
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent project management and time management skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication
Ability to work autonomously and drive projects forward
Adaptable and comfortable with rapid iteration
Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
