Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us.The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition & Contingent Workforce Category Lead within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) will partner with the HR organization and across other business functions to create, develop, and implement global and sub-category engagement strategies as it relates to contingent labor and talent. This position will also drive company strategy as it relates to Preferred Supplier engagement and compliance.The position will drive company strategy in ensuring that we purposely increase spend on Supplier Diversity through sourcing initiatives and actively working with business partners and vendors to identify opportunities for small and diverse vendors while also ensuring sustainability best practices. This position is also accountable for development and execution of sourcing initiatives which may be cross-functional.The position will also establish MSAs, buying channels and buying enablement for all the spend related to Contingent Labor and Talent Acquisition; serving as a subject matter expert for ex-US activity in support of local procurement teams. Where applicable, this role will also lead all SRM and TPRM efforts related to contingent labor and talent acquisition for critical and strategic suppliers.Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Procurement• Active business partnering to evolve, develop and implement HR’s and the company’s overall strategy when it comes to talent and contingent workforce• Proactively scope, initiate and lead cost efficiency opportunities in collaboration with functional business stakeholders• Actively work with HR, Legal, broader Enabling Services SS&P team to deploy category strategy; plan and execute strategic negotiations. Actively benchmark 3rd party supplier costs within the industry/supplier network and use the data to drive sourcing strategies• Develop and review MSA, Key Performance indicators and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)• Facilitate Project Team decision making of contract award recommendations when sourcing initiatives arise• Prepare and solicit competitive bids, quotations and proposals with relevant specifications/requirements, terms and conditions.• Negotiate and/or issue contracts and service orders, obtaining legal and finance approvals when required• Partner closely with the new Agile Sourcing organization to ensure successful sourcing execution, contract management, and purchasing practices for the businessSupplier Relationship Management• Strategically own and manage the overall relationship with the company’s Managed Service Provider (MSP) for contingent labor, and key relationships under talent acquisition• Develop, and manage internal and external relationships with suppliers, cross-functional and/or multi-functional teams with regard to the following:• Manage all preferred suppliers using the Supplier Relationship Management methodology for the various categories• Coordinate evaluations to determine supplier performance using rating systems and/or predetermined standards.• Schedule and drive meetings with supplier(s) selected for the SRM program• Prepare for and develop negotiations strategies and plans• Conduct negotiations with incumbent and new potential suppliers to obtain maximum value and optimal cost.• Coordinate, review and respond to supplier inquiries• Support any needed Third-Party Risk Management programs.Sourcing & Technology• Utilize available sourcing, contracting and payment platform(s) to support all business needs• Implement and maintain required systems, files/archives and databases of project execution• Collaborate with finance to capture and report savings and Value beyond savings• Maintain the Buyer Portal and the preferred supplier lists (SIMON)Management & Organization• Develop strategic plans and objectives for each of these categories.• Develop goals and objectives in alignment with Business Partners.• Develop a plan to staff a site procurement team when the timing is right to align with the projectQualificationsMinimum Requirements• Minimum education of a B.S. in Business, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Procurement or equivalent.• Minimum of seven (7) years of work experience, five (5) of which in procurement or relevant experience.• Procurement process knowledge, category management, contract management, financial analysis, market analysis, supplier analysis, supplier management, technology utilization and strategic planning• Internal stakeholder management, data/information management, category management, process redesign and continuous improvement expertise, project management and performance measurement skills• Must have a strong customer service orientation with excellent analytic, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.#LI-HybridIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
