Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us .POSITION DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will play a key role in providing senior management with insightful analysis on total company financial performance, lead the coordination, reporting and analysis of total company financial results on a monthly and quarterly basis, drive efficiency and process improvements for the finance and perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic scenarios the company is exploring. As a member of the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (CFPA) team, the individual will provide financial support and build strong relationships with the Business Units, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Corporate Communications.MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:• Prepare quarterly analysis of actual results for presentation to CFO and Investor Relations• Responsible for preparation of total company financial results inclusive of monthly closes, quarterly earnings results and adhoc analysis to support executive leadership• Lead reporting and analysis of total company financial results in coordination with key stakeholders• Prepare financial materials and messaging for presentations to the Leadership Team and Board of Directors• Establish and maintain strong business partnerships and cross functional relationships to support financial processes• Drive process improvements and work with stakeholders to simplify approach, monitor company's performance, business trends and assess risks and opportunities to achieve short and long-term goals• Monitor company's performance, business trends and assess risks and opportunities to achieve short-term goals• Represent Finance in relevant meetings and activities related to development and measurement of annual and long-term incentive plans• Manage special projects and perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic decisions being explored to ensure highly effective outcomes• Support IR and CFO Support Lead in preparation for ongoing investor relations messaging (i.e. conferences, JPM, Investor Days, etc.)POSITION REQUIREMENTS:• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred• 10+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting positions with upward progression and experience supporting business units or operations• Strong analytical, quantitative and financial modeling skills with the ability to prioritize workload• Self-starter, inquisitive, accountable, problem-solver• Ability to deal with complexity and uncertainty while driving teams towards actionable decisions• Strong business partnering skills.
