Senior Software Engineer, Backend

Bubble is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to help execute on scaling, reliability, and enablement efforts. This role involves supporting scalable infrastructure and core backend software systems.

Skills

Strong experience with Rust, Kafka, NodeJS, Terraform, serverless, and more
Experience in designing scalable infrastructure and backend software systems
Great problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

Support billions of requests across a platform
Improve performance and reliability of backend services
Design and implement observability across core parts of the system
Build workflow engine and scale data tier
Contribute to the development of Bubble programming language
Participate in triage and on-call process
Build next-generation cloud with multi-region and multi-cloud high availability

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
