Position Overview
The Business Analyst will be a member of the Stony Brook Medicine?s CIN Population Health IT Team. The candidate will work with end users to understand their clinical and business workflows, document use cases, functional requirements and develop data analytics that will be used to support the daily operations of our Clinically Integrated Network.
This candidate will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a multi-disciplinary project team responsible for ensuring the ongoing management and improvements on the Population Health platform required for tracking and reporting on the quality and performance measures programs.
The Business Analyst will become knowledgeable with Cerner's Population Health product suite and assist in a manner that enhances efficiency and promotes quality in patient care. This will include frontline support on Cerner's Population Health Management suite of products (HealtheRegistries, HealtheAnalytics, HealtheEDW, and HealtheCare). End-users will include clinical providers and all levels of clinical and operational support staff.
The successful candidate will bring a balance of creative problem solving, hands-on data analytics, manipulation and practical software integration skills. The specialist will provide day to day technical support to management and assist management in making strategic data-related decisions by analyzing data, finding actionable insights and work with leadership to drive change across Stony Brook Medicine?s reporting enterprise.
