Business Development Coordinator- contract

The Mars Agency is seeking a Business Development Coordinator, to work 30-40 hours a week on a contract basis through December. Candidates must be located in the US for consideration.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the CRM database which includes contacts and pipeline management as well as reporting.
  • Support the execution of business development plans.
  • Support the pitch, presentation, and business review process.
  • Carry out market research and track industry, client, and competitor news and information.
  • Help coordinate and execute Event/Conference strategies including Agency events (i.e., Breakfasts/Happy Hours, etc.), logistic details, prospect outreach, internal stakeholder coordination, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Support the management of marketing materials including, bios, sell sheets, case studies, capabilities etc.

SKILLSETS REQUIRED:

  • Execution focused, with a high degree of personal accountability
  • Strong time management skills required, project management skills a plus.
  • Attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with research using data analytics software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • First-hand experience with CRM and Sales Platforms (i.e., HubSpot, SalesIntel, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Dependable, detail oriented and self-motivated with strong communication and writing skills (design skills or interest are a plus but not required).
