Position Overview

The Business Development Intern will support the Sales team by assisting with prospect identification, target account research, pain point identification, and objection handling. They will work closely with the North America Sales Team to ensure the team is operating efficiently and effectively in reaching global and regional pipeline goals. This person should be a self-starter, resourceful, disciplined, collaborative, and have an appetite for personal and professional growth.


What You’ll Do

  • Research the media landscape to identify new industry verticals and target accounts for the North America Sales team to go after
  • Work closely with the Sales and Business Development team to craft effective messaging and outreach strategies for potential clients
  • Review prospect calls and build out a list of industry pain points and which business units are affected most significantly by each pain point to help deals move through the pipeline
  • Map sales enablement materials to buying personas to help expedite sales processes and present it back to the team

Capstone Project: Business Development Best Practices

  • Work with Global Business Development leaders in creating key assets for the Business Development team
  • Identify industry metrics, KPIs, and best practices that will be used to create resources for training, continuing education, and for future hiring and onboarding in a global capacity
  • Present findings in final deck to team

  • Ability to maintain grace under pressure and a good sense of humor
  • Ability to work on-site at the Philadelphia office at least 3 days per week
