Business Development Manager - SMB

Feedr is looking for an ambitious, energetic person to join us as a Business Development Manager - SMB (Small & Scaling Businesses) Sales. Feedr works with hundreds of fast growing, scale up clients and as a Business Development Manager your role will be to introduce new businesses and their teams to the power of Feedr’s amazing food & tech solutions. Taking clients on the full sales cycle, from discovery all the way through to onboarding.

Feedr is a food tech platform connecting offices to fresh, sustainable and healthy meals from the best artisan vendors in London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin. Feedr is redefining the workplace food landscape, using technology to build personalised menus and launch company food programmes for teams at work.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a pipeline of qualified SMB leads and manage them through a CRM system
  • Reach out to customers via a variety of different channels (email, phone, social, face to face etc.)
  • Build trust and confidence in you and Feedr by being a credible and consultative expert
  • Be an empathetic listener who can discover and interpret a prospect’s needs
  • Be a Feedr specialist and evangelist, ensuring you can demonstrate the Feedr platform expertly
  • Execute on innovative and data driven engagement campaigns to acquire new leads and nurture top of funnel pipeline
  • Use customer insights to tailor content and communications strategy
  • Know what tastes great and send targeted food and menu recommendations to customers
  • Identify relevant networks and events to attend or host
  • Support in online and offline marketing activities
  • Work cross functionally beyond the boundaries of the sales team, feeding into everything from Product to Marketing
  • Win new business

Requirements

  • 2+ years of B2B sales (or similar) experience with a strong demonstrable track record
  • Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, all the way through to close
  • Strong and natural communicator at all levels, especially via email and over the phone
  • An expert listener and interpreter of client requirements, with the ability to translate these in to winning solutions
  • Confident at demonstrating software solutions as an answer to client needs
  • Proactive, self-starter with a positive attitude and desire to find creative solutions for companies
  • Passion for food, nutrition and wellness essential
  • Organised and process driven
  • Experience with CRM system and email marketing tools is a plus
