High level of outbound calling to white space accounts Strategically people mapping white space accounts Maximizing coverage within a defined region and penetrate organizations with Veeam products Coordinating sales activities within the expanded Veeam Team Initiating telephone and email contact with potential prospects Developing a solid working knowledge of Veeam Software and related products and the benefits they provide to potential prospects Providing support to qualified prospects including follow up, product information, quotations, and supporting the regional team in closing Veeam business. Setting appointments with white space prospects for territory team Updating and maintaining the Veeam CRM system (Salesforce) Performs other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
Present our company to potential clients
Stay up-to-date with new products
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Qualifications
Minimum 2 yrs prior Business Development experience
Hands on experience with multiple sales techniques – predominantly cold call
Track record of achieving quota
Experience with CRM – Salesforce
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication, oral and written, and negotiation skills
BS or BA in marketing, business administration or relevant field
