Business Development Representative

CompStak envisions a commercial real estate industry in which accurate and transparent data leads to better, faster deals for everyone. We gather critical information that is hard to access, then make it instantly and seamlessly available to our platform members.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be part of a close knit, collaborative team. You will work with your manager and team to help carry out the strategy that drives our growth with professionals working in commercial real estate brokerage and valuation. The BDR will prospect potential members of CompStak's Exchange platform, resulting in qualified opportunities. The BDR is the first point of contact between prospective members and CompStak, and will be responsible for generating and qualifying new leads. Our users don’t pay for CompStak - they trade data for data. That said, this is a growth / business development role, and your superb biz dev, account management, organization and communication skills will be fully utilized daily (as well as your work ethic!).

Responsibilities

    • Prospect for new business, researching companies and individuals that meet criteria for the CompStak Exchange platform.
    • Develop ideal customer profiles for outbound prospecting.
    • Build new methods for attracting users.
    • Take initiative to help marketing convert their efforts into leads for the Exchange team.
    • Work to meet and exceed monthly goals defined to maximize data growth with outbound emails, calls, setting up meetings, etc.

Skills & Experience

    • You have 1+ years experience in sales or business development related activities.
    • You have experienced success in building your own book of business.
    • You enjoy a challenge and solving problems.
    • You think on your feet and bring creative solutions to complicated problems.
    • Experience with Excel, Salesforce, CRM systems.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
    • Attention to detail and willingness to ask questions.
    • Background in SaaS or Real Estate is a plus.
