The Business Solutions Analyst II has general working knowledge for producing business and technical requirements, performing gap analyses for capabilities, understanding technical dependencies, and envisioning creative solutions to business and technical challenges. Works in a cross-functional team environment and collaborates effectively to support functional documented requirements and maintains business solutions document library. Participates in analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives. Works independently with general supervision. Carries out moderately complex duties and responsibilities while assisting with more complex duties and responsibilities. May influence other staff within the department through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Administers and maintains documentation including standard operating procedures and policies.
- Provides analysis and produces required documentation through State Charts, Activity Modeling, Use Case Model in both UML, and Non-UML standards. Translates business requirements into application requirements.
- Acts as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions. Assists other IT teams as part of escalations and/or projects as assigned.
- Develops successful working relationships across business units to ensure there are clear communication channels and understanding of requirements with technical and business audiences to ensure segmentation of duty.
- Initiates business requirements, reporting, and functional requirements in the proper format to the Systems and Applications Teams.
- Participates in recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology and/or alternative uses of existing technology.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Technology, and/or related preferred.
- Minimum experience 3 years as an IT Business Solutions Analyst, Business Solutions Architect, Business Process Management, Business Process Analysis, and/or related. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with business and technology best practices in homebuilding, property operations, maintenance and/or similar industries.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience in technology business process development.
- Intermediate experience with commonly used methods and tools (UML).
- Intermediate experience with Enterprise Architect or similar Diagram Software including version control.
- Intermediate technical and business analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, analysis and organizing skills.
- Excellent synthesis skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Must be able to document and diagram business and technical workflows.
- Must be able to take initiative with evolving requirements and independently iterate implementations to create and maintain working solutions.
- Must be able to implement process improvement changes with leadership direction.

In the states of Colorado, California and Washington, the anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $69,465 to $84,200. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.
- Position is also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
Employees also have the opportunity to participate in medical, dental and vision insurance; flexible spending accounts and/or health savings accounts; dependent savings accounts; 401(k) with company matching contributions; employee stock purchase plan; and, a tuition reimbursement program. The Company provides 9 paid holidays per year and, upon hire, new employees will accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of 0.0577 hours of PTO per hour worked, up to a maximum of 120 hours per year.
