Job Description
To provide fiscal support to the VTH through the collection of revenues. The primary emphasis of the position is to insure compliance with VTH financial policy through audit of all fees, processing of medical records for discharge, closing invoices, receiving payments, computer data entry into the VTH accounting system, delivering high quality customer service to both clients and staff, direction of student wage staff, and support of the supervisor of the business office with collections and special projects. This position may be considered essential and required report to work during emergency and inclement weather closings.
Required Qualifications
Experience in detailed financial record keeping, file management, data entry, auditing, and/or cash
handling as a cashier or bank teller; Ability to multitask and work under pressure with strict deadlines required. Experience working with the public. Excellent communication skills essential.
Preferred Qualifications
An Associates or Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field; Experience as a Cashier, Bank Teller or Accounts Receivable Clerk; Experience with medical terminology; Experience in a professional office or academic setting.
