JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for working with the Information Technology and/or Business Unit team to support front end processes across the Banc of California application suite, including but not limited to: daily business unit assistance; break fix; application updates; analyzing client requirements and determining appropriate technical solutions for the assigned business units; automate processes. Works as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, validate and document requirements for changes to business processes, business reporting and information systems. Develops recommendations for future projects and assists on implementation of projects and support issues. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides subject matter expertise as a core member of the IT team(s) to support applications and upgrades.

Serves as a resource for the IT and/or Business Unit department in handling complex issues.

Analyzes documents and data to facilitate requirements – proposes and creates technical solutions for IT and/or the business unit.

Supports and monitors IT processes to ensure operational effectiveness and audit compliance.

Conducts detailed systems analysis – defines objectives, documents current systems, gathers information on future requirements, prepares systems design and specifications and defines security requirements.

Determines operational objectives by studying partnering business unit functions – gathers information, evaluates output, and specifies requirements and formats.

Reviews documentation with IT and/or business unit stakeholders, clarifies any questions or issues, and presents to the stakeholders for approval and implementation.

Cross trains other business systems analysts to ensure that all foundational institutional knowledge regarding systems, applications, processes and procedures are understood and implemented.

Creates and maintains documentation of processes, reports, applications and procedures as per department policy.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:

High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of related work experience and/or training. Work related experience must consist of information systems experience in the financial services industry.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
SALARY RANGE: $50,000.00 - 75,000.00; Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
