BIG FUN - BIG TIME - BIG 12!

IT'S COUGAR FOOTBALL SEASON & WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The BYU Special Events Staff is looking for fun and energetic people to help greet and assist guests while at LaVell Edwards Stadium for our inaugural season in the BIG 12 Conference.

Positions include but not limited to Ticket Scanners, Portal Ushers, Loge Staff and many others. Come be a part of Cougar Nation, not just as a fan but as member of the BYU Football family!

You are our eyes and ears at these events. You will be responsible for:

• Greeting & directing guests
• Scanning and checking tickets
• Problem-solving
• Ensuring venue policies are upheld

You must be:

• 16 years of age or older
• Dependable
• Professional
• Friendly
• Punctual
• Excellent at positively engaging guests
• Outstanding communication skills
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Repetitive stair climbing may be required
• Previous customer service experience a plus, but we will train you regardless of your experience.

Time Commitment:

Applicants must are required to work all 6 home football games.

2023 BYU HOME FOOTBALL SCHEDULE*

• Baylor - Saturday, September 2nd
• Southern Utah - Saturday, September 9th
• Cincinnati - Friday, September 29th
• Texas Tech - Saturday, October 21st
• Iowa - Saturday, Novemeber 11th
• Oklahoma - Saturday, November 18th

• Schedule Subject To Change

Check in time for most events will be approximately 2 hours BEFORE the event start time. Most events range between 3-6 hours but events do vary.

Members of the BYU Special Event Staff are eligble to work other campus events including but not limited to:

• Education Week
• Devotionals
• Women's Soccer
• Women's Volleyball
• Men's Basketball
• Women's Basketball
• And Much More!

Position Details:

Compensation: $16/hour

Work Location: Provo Campus

Employee Class: 1/2 Time (No more than an average of 17.5 hours per week)

Desired Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Close Date: Open Until Filled

Environment: Frequent exposure to a variety of conditions such as all-weather, large crowds, loud noise

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.
