This includes sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, cereal and a wide variety of beverages.Job Functions• Greets customer at Valet Porte-Cochere, may assist in transporting luggage to and from vehicle to guest rooms, parks and retrieves customer’s passenger vehicles while creating a seamless guest service experience.• Initiates and engages in conversations with guests on all services across the Council Bluffs properties including restaurants, entertainment, promotions and events.• Accurately completes Luggage tags and Valet tickets which includes inspection of vehicle for prior damage.• Answers valet phone and responds to luggage room calls and expedited car retrieval service from Casino Operations for 7 Stars and Diamond players.• Practices lateral service by stepping out of normal job description to help guests and co-workers, when business allows. This includes, but is not limited to, driving shuttles.• Complies with and upholds company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, industry regulations, department goals and business strategy.• Presents oneself as a credit to the Company and encourages others to do the same.• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE• High school diploma or GED preferred.Qualifications• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a driving record that meets Company requirements.• Valid state driver’s license required• Must be able to drive and operate all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions in a safe fashion.• Must possess great interpersonal skills.• Good oral and written communication skills, fluent and literate in English.• Must be a self starter and motivator and capable of working at times without constant direction.• Ability to stand and walk, and mobility to move easily around entire property for entire shift.
