The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of analytical expertise and strategic thinking, with a passion for transforming data into actionable insights and driving forward-looking change within the healthcare industry.What You'll Do- Develop and implement payer analytics and economics strategies to optimize health outcomes and catalyze organizational change- Conduct comprehensive analysis of behavioral health, physical health, and pharmacy data, leveraging these insights to influence financial decision-making across various levels of the organization- Utilize advanced SQL and Excel skills to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights- Stay abreast of industry trends, healthcare policies, and medical economics concepts to inform strategic initiatives and drive measurable results- Design and build intuitive Power BI dashboards to visualize data and support data-driven decision-making processes- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate medical economics principles into projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and collateral materials to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and progress towards financial and operational targets.What You'll NeedRequired:- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Health Economics, Statistics, or a related field- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics- Proficient in SQL querying and data manipulation- Intermediate to expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel- Experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts and data into clear, concise narratives- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting, while also being a collaborative team playerPhysical Demands- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitorReasonable Accommodation StatementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 - 8111.Equal Employment Opportunity Policy StatementIt is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
