Calibration Technician

As a Calibration Technician on our PCAL Team you will perform calibrations on new production instruments and maintain the calibrations on all measurement and test equipment (M&TE) through internal or external calibration services. You will follow and support the ISO 17025 Quality Standard.

General duties & responsibilities:

• Perform calibrations and adjustments on pressure and/or flow instruments.
• Maintain both primary and secondary calibration standards per published schedules.
• Collect data, record information, and generate calibration certificates.
• Train fellow technicians in the use of standards and procedures.

Experience/personal qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a calibration lab or in small electronics' repair, familiarity with pressure and flow systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent. (Secondary schooling, military PMEL or TMDE training preferred)
• Ability to use intermediate math to solve problems and analyze data.
• Capable of interpreting documents and standard work instructions.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Intermediate digital literacy with proficiency in MS Office programs.
• Must be an independent worker who requires minimum supervision.
• Experience with ISO 17025 preferred.
• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.
