Overview
Carbon Direct is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Events Manager to join our team. As the Marketing Events Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all company events, including webinars, conferences, workshops, and other events. You will work closely with the sales, and executive teams to develop and implement event strategies that align with our business objectives, enhance our brand presence, drive leads, and engage customers and prospects to expand revenue.
Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution:
- Plan, organize, and execute marketing-related events. This includes managing Carbon Direct’s presence at major conferences, regional events, and seminars; as well as organizing hosted events including customer events.
- Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in all event-related activities.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, booth setup, and onsite coordination. Note that travel will be required in some cases.
- Manage event registration, attendee communication, and post-event follow-up to ensure a positive attendee experience and maximize lead generation and conversion opportunities.
- Collect feedback and insights from attendees to continuously improve future events and optimize ROI.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
Webinar Development:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all webinar initiatives from inception to completion.
- Work closely with subject matter experts, presenters, and stakeholders to identify webinar topics, content themes, and learning objectives.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan outlining key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables for each webinar.
- Coordinate the production of webinar content, including slides, videos, and other multimedia assets, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and audience preferences.
- Manage the technical aspects of webinar platforms, including setup, testing, and troubleshooting, to ensure smooth execution and optimal attendee experience.
- Oversee post-webinar follow-up activities, including sending thank-you emails, distributing webinar recordings and resources, and collecting attendee feedback.
- Analyze post-webinar survey data and attendee feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements for future webinar programs.
Promotion and Marketing:
- Work closely with the marketing team to promote events through various channels, including email marketing, social media, website, and other digital platforms.
- Develop compelling event collateral, such as invitations, landing pages, and promotional materials, to drive attendance and engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in event management, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
- Proficiency in Marketing software and tools, such as HubSpot and Google Analytics, as well as Google suite and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms is a plus.
Salary
$103,000-$143,000
